Bobbles Privacy Policy
Bobbles (the "Game") is made by SchizoTroll Games ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information is collected when you play the Game on an Android device, who collects it, and what choices you have.
In short
We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't ask for your name, email address or phone number.
Your best score and settings are saved only on your device.
The Game shows ads provided by Google AdMob, which may collect device information to serve and measure ads.
Purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
1. Who is responsible
SchizoTroll Games, operated by Jason Fenech, Malta.
Contact: schizogamessupport@gmail.com
2. Information stored on your device
The Game saves a few things locally, on your phone only:
- your best score,
- whether you have purchased "Remove ads",
- your consent choices for ads (stored by Google's consent tool).
This data is deleted when you uninstall the Game or clear its data in your phone's settings.
3. Information collected by our service providers
Advertising (Google AdMob). The Game uses Google AdMob to show ads. When ads are requested or shown, Google and its advertising partners may automatically collect information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and operating-system details, app and ad interactions (for example, ad impressions and taps), and diagnostics. This is used to deliver, measure and personalise ads, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to keep the service secure. We do not receive this information in a form that identifies you. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.
Purchases (Google Play). If you buy "Remove ads", the purchase is processed by Google Play. Google handles your payment details and sends us only confirmation that the purchase was made. Google's handling of your data is described in its Privacy Policy.
4. How we use information
- to run the Game and remember your score and purchase,
- to show ads, which helps keep the Game free,
- to process and restore the "Remove ads" purchase,
- to respond if you contact us.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles ourselves.
5. Consent and your ad choices
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: where the law requires it, the Game asks for your consent before ads that use your information are shown. It uses Google's consent message for this. You can change your choice at any time with the "Privacy settings" button in the Game's main menu, which appears where consent applies.
- On your device: you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation in your Android settings, usually under Settings, then Google, then Ads.
- Remove ads: the purchase stops full-screen ads between runs. Ads you choose to watch (for example, to continue a run) remain available and optional.
6. Legal bases (EEA and UK users)
We rely on your consent for personalised advertising and for storing or accessing information on your device for ads; on performance of a contract to provide a purchase you ask for; and on our legitimate interests in keeping the Game working, secure and free from fraud. You can withdraw consent at any time, as described above.
7. Sharing and international transfers
We share nothing about you ourselves, because we don't collect personal information. Google and its partners, acting as described in section 3, may process information in countries outside your own, including outside the EEA and UK, using the safeguards described in their policies.
8. How long information is kept
Local data stays on your device until you remove it. Information collected by Google is kept according to Google's own retention policies.
9. Children
The Game is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher age set by the law where you live), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email address above.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent. Because we don't hold personal information about you, most requests about advertising data are best made to Google through your Google Account's privacy controls. You can also contact us, and we will help where we can.
You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In Malta this is the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (idpc.org.mt).
Residents of some US states, such as California, have additional rights. We do not sell personal information as defined by those laws. You can contact us with any request.
11. Security
We keep what little data the Game stores on your device, and we choose established providers for ads and payments. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if the Game adds new features or services. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we will say so in the Game or on the store page.
